API Aqua Essential is a professional grade all-in-one water conditioner designed for use in freshwater, saltwater and planted aquariums. The highly concentrated formula will instantly make tap water safe for aquarium pets by effectively removing harmful chlorine, chloramine and detoxifying heavy metals normally found in untreated tap water. Even in small amounts, ammonia can be harmful to fish and is regularly released through biological waste and leftover food, but Aqua Essential quickly removes toxic ammonia, nitrite and nitrates from the aquarium. The formula binds with these harmful compounds and renders them non-toxic, allowing your biolfilter to remove them more easily. Ideal for use when adding or changing water, or when adding, transporting or quarantining fish. Comes in a 4 oz bottle.

Instructions: Using the dosing cap on the bottle, add 5 ml per 50 gallons of aquarium water to treat tap water. Add 5 ml per 10 gallons to remove ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. It is recommended to wait 24 hours after dosing to do a water change.
