Wow. Can't say ENOUGH about this place. We lost our 9 year old green-cheeked conure a few weeks ago and I have been so sad. We started looking in earnest for a new similar sized parrot for our family and after some searching a friend suggested Woofmeow in Dover. We live about 1 1/2 hours away so decided to take a drive just to see what birds were there and what kind of store it was. Impressive....very impressive. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff who were very eager but not pushy. Liam in the Bird Room was FANTASTIC. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and really knew the birds and their personalities. He took great care to explain the food needs, bird habits, let us spend time with the bird on our shoulders and feeding millet spray...what a treasure to have working with these animals. Needless to say, we brought home Oscar the oh so regal and handsome one home this afternoon. Thank you SO MUCH! Oh..and everyone was wearing masks.
