As aquatic turtles mature, their diet changes and plant material makes up a larger part of their daily intake. This Maintenance formula is scientifically formulated to meet the dietary requirements of adult aquatic turtles that have reached their full adult size, or shell length of 6 inches (15 cm). Most aquatic turtles prefer to feed at the water's surface (like Red-Ear Sliders, Painted Turtles, and Map Turtles). These pellets float, making it easier for turtles to locate their food.
