Live crickets are an essential food source for many reptiles and amphibians, despite their relatively low nutrional value. To ensure that your insect-eating reptiles receive the nutrition they require, it is imperative that the crickets they eat are fed a healthy, balanced diet (a process known as "gut loading"). The Cricket Block from Zoo Med provides supplemental calcium and nutrients to promote optimal health in crickets and the reptiles that dine on them. This special formulation includes a varied assortment of nutritious vegetables (Alfalfa, Carrots, Spinach, etc.) encapsulated in a solid calcium sulfate block. It is super-easy to use - just place the Cricket Block inside your cricket enclosure! Proudly made in the U.S.A.

Place Cricket Gutload Block in cage with crickets. Provide water in a separate shallow water dish. For best results, allow crickets to eat Cricket Gutload Block for 1 - 2 days before feeding then to your reptiles. If additional supplementation is desired, periodically dust crickets with Zoo Med Repti Calcium just before feeding crickets to your reptiles. Replace block after it is consumed or if it becomes soiled. Store food in a cool, dry place.
