Zoo Med's farm-raised crickets are a fine option for feeding most lizards, turtles, fish, birds and other small animals. They can also be used as bait for fishing. The adult-sized crickets come in a convenient 1.2-ounce can that includes the crickets' natural juices to help preserve the flavor and make a palatable treat for your pets. They're designed for the best in nutrition and convenience, with full line-feeder insects that are cooked in the can (called “retorting"), to lock in the flavor and freshness while softening the insect's exoskeleton for easier digestion. Unlike live food, Can O'Crickets can be kept for about a week in the refrigerator after it has been opened.

For lizards, snakes, and amphibians: Spoon out the appropriate amount for the size animal you are feeding. Do not use for hatchling lizards or small (2" and under) amphibians.
